Blanchard is a community in south central Page County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 38. Blanchard was incorporated in 1880. The Wabash Trace Nature Trail passes through Blanchard. Blanchard was the birthplace of baseball player Pat Ragan in 1885.
Clarinda is a community located in east central Page County, it is the largest community, and is the county seat. As of the 2010 census, the population was 5,572. Clarinda was incorporated in 1866. Clarinda was the home of Glenn Miller, you can read more about Mr. Miller HERE.
Essex is a community located in north western Page County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 798. Essex was platted in 1870. Essex was the hometown of Leanna Field Driftmier, radio broadcaster and magazinist.
