Assistant Page County Attorney

The Page County Attorney’s Office is seeking applicants for the position of a part-time (30 hours per week) Assistant County Attorney. Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Representing the State of Iowa in all levels of criminal cases, juvenile delinquency, child in need of assistance/termination of parental rights cases, and civil commitment cases;

• Representing Page County in county infraction cases and other civil matters;
• Assisting law enforcement with investigations and charging decisions, including outside of normal office hours on occasion.

Applicants must possess a Juris Doctorate degree and be admitted to practice law in the State of Iowa, with their license in good standing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the practice of law, including jury trial experience, and be able to commence employment in early January 2027.
Salary range is $70,000 to $87,550 depending on qualifications and experience.

Benefits include medical and dental insurance, and the position qualifies for IPERS.

FULL-TIME JAILER

The Page County Sheriffs Office has an immediate opening for full­time jailer position. Starting wage is $20.00 plus shift differential, with .50 raise after the employee attains the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, 40-hour Certification. Health, Vision, Dental and Accidental Insurance are also offered.

Minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Computer experience required. Must be able to work all shifts. Employment offers contingent on satisfactory background check and MMPI results.
