FULL TIME CIVIL CLERK


The Page County Sheriff's Office is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented professional to
join our team as a Full-Time Civil Clerk. This position plays a vital role in supporting the
daily operations of the Sheriff's Office, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and
excellent service to the public.
The Civil Clerk is responsible for processing civil paperwork, assisting the public,
maintaining accurate records, and supporting deputies and administrative staff. This
role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a
fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior administrative, clerical, or legal office experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
The starting wage will be dependent on experience.

Help Wanted: The Page County Secondary Road Department is accepting applications for Motor Grader Operators out of the Coin and Essex Sheds.

Experience preferred but not required. Class A CDL is required.

 DISPATCHER

 

Page County Communications is accepting applications for a 911 Tele-communicator for County Emergency Communication Center. 

This person will be responsible for answering 911 calls and dispatching Law Enforcement, Fire and Emergency Medical Services; also answering non-emergency calls for County and City Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS; operate and handle radio traffic; and enter and update information into the CAD and Teletype systems. 

Must be able to multi-task and meet all training and certification requirements of the State of Iowa. 

Starting wage is $19.00/Hour plus shift differential, with .50/hour raise after the employee successfully completes required training.

 The Page County Sheriff’s Office has an immediate opening for full-time female jailer position.  Starting wage is $18.68 plus shift differential, with .50 raise after the employee attains the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, 40-hour Certification. 

Health, Vision, Dental and Accidental Insurance are also offered. 

Minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. 

Computer experience required.  Must be able to work all shifts. 

Employment offers contingent on satisfactory background check and MMPI results.
