Clerk to Auditor

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Assists the County Auditor in the performance of the duties assigned by statute. Performs account/document verification and reporting in vendor claims for payment, payroll and cash ledger balancing; prepares various reports necessary in tracking revenues and expenditures; handles documentation and questions regarding employee benefits; provides assistance to the public as needed; participates in various operational and support tasks carried out in the Auditor’s Office, including administrative support of the Page County Board of Supervisors.:

Seasonal Conservation Aide
Description: Under the supervision of the Director, assist full-time staff in the seasonal maintenance of county conservation board lands, facilities, and equipment. Performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance, custodial, and laborer duties within the Conservation Department; performs related work as assigned.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Experience with heavy equipment and knowledge of general lawn maintenance is preferred but not required.
Requirements: The ability to effectively apply knowledge and common sense to solve problems to achieve work objectives. Work is performed indoors and outdoors and requires a considerable amount of physical activity including walking, standing, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, scooping, and climbing. Five-member board to provide guidance and oversee operations of the county Conservation Department.
